Centennial Park, located in Downtown Oxford, comes alive with music and entertainment every Thursday night between 7pm and 9pm when we celebrate our summer Concerts in the Park. This year our first performance kicks off the concert series on May 31st and runs through to August 30th with a variety of bands who have been selected by a committee of volunteers to fill the park with fun and entertainment for the whole family.

We kick off our 2012 season with a performance by the Oxford High School Jazz Band and then in the weeks that follow we have brought back some crowd favourites and some new bands too! The Randy Brock Group, Groove Council – winner of the 2011 Detroit Music Awards “Outstanding R&B Band”, the Lapeer Symphony Orchestra, the Tom Allport Band and Devin Scillian and his band Arizona Sun have all been brought back by popular demand. In addition to these favorites we are looking forward to a great season with bands performing country, rock ‘n roll, jazz and funk. There’s music, entertainment and fun in store for all ages to enjoy.
